My Top Picks - Zara Faux Fur!

Zara are doing some amazing statement faux fur coats at the moment! Choosing which one to get is next to impossible!! These two are my top picks! I love the chevron, 1970s style of this one, with the block colour detail! looks great over a navy roll neck (So Starsky and Hutch!) But I also love the blue tonal, fluffy textured one, which can be used as a dressy evening coat too. They are both gorgeous, so cosy chic! The length of them is extremely flattering too as they sit just below the waist and don't swamp you. When you put them on you immediately feel good!
Which one do you like best??

Zara have some great statement striped shirts at the moment in all different colours so I have chosen an alternative from there. The only green one is a long shirt but its pretty cool and I now want one!

Cold Shoulder

So Cold Shoulder tops are in all the stores right now and there are so many to choose from. Other names for shoulder less tops are Bardot and Off the Shoulder.
So how do you choose?
I'm all for a full Bardot top but love a Cold Shoulder because of the pretty strap details. I'm especially loving the shirt styles too; they are a more feminine take on the classic cotton shirt but with girly frills.
This is my fave in store now from Mango. It is so versatile and I love styling it with blue denim flares (These are from Topshop) and platform sandals for a 70s vibe. I have always loved teaming tan accessories with blue denim so my vintage Stuart Weitzman bag and Topshop platforms do the job.
The shirt would look really cute with a denim mini too. Great for the festival season!
You may also want to invest in a good strapless bra for these kind of tops. Victoria Secret do a great range and go for one which is a skin tone.

Here are my top 5cold shoulder shirt tops in the stores now:

Twice as nice

If you follow me on instagram you may have noticed I wear a lot of denim.....perhaps a denim addict you might say. Denim is so versatile and can be styled in so, so many ways. I especially love the double denim look and layering it.
Double denim isn't a look to be shyed away from anymore. No more visions of Shakin' Stevens strutting his stonewashed denim on Top of the Pops (now I'm showing my age!). Head to toe denim is on trend and isn't going anywhere soon.
I love to layer my denim for a more modern look and when its freezing cold outside a little denim jacket just doesn't cut the mustard. Peeping through a tailored coat you can get the layered look you're after. Try using a different textured and patterned coat to contrast the two fabrics. I also like to use a different colour or tone of denim on the top than from the bottom. My embroidered blue jeans here are more brighter than my denim jacket so it doesn't look like I'm wearing all one colour.
Last but not least this look needed an accessory to lift it and what better than a bag the hottest colour of the season, a splash of a fuschia pink!

How do you style your denim? I would love to hear from you!
