Happy New Year!!! I hope 2014 has been good to you so far. I always find January a strange month, all the festive fun is over and people are hanging to get paid. The S/S 2014 wish list is getting longer and you can't wait to hit the stores.
Hopefully a bit of sparkle will cheer us all up! Here is my first 2014 feature in The County Magazine which is out now.

Cabot Circus Blogger Style Challenge!

Jumper - Monsoon £45.00
Shorts - Zara £29.99
Heels - Zara £29.99
Necklace - New Look £7.99
Clutch - H&M £14.99
Sunglasses - Topshop £16.00

Cabot Circus challenged three fashion bloggers last weekend to style a summer outfit of their choice as part of their current 'Home of the High Street' campaign. I was lucky enough to be one of the three asked to take part and was given a fantastic budget of £150 to style my choice of a 'Summer Chic' outfit using all the amazing shops in Cabot Circus in Bristol!

I wanted to mix it up a bit so I had a range of pieces from different high street stores at Cabots and here is my result.
Firstly,I love these bird printed Zara shorts! I just couldn't resist them. As soon as I tried them on the fabric made me feel chic and summery. I also love the pockets giving more of a relaxed look. I have been after a short sleeve, white, knit jumper for a little while now and love white and red worn together, so I just had to team the two. Stick to a light weight jumper for the summer though. This one is great from Monsoon and has a flattering bateau neck line.
I wanted to accessorise with a chunky statement necklace to lift the outfit. New Look do an amazing range at the moment and you are spoilt for choice, but the colours of this one really stood out for me. I only had one shoe destination in mind and that was Zara as I am obsessed with their current collection. I especially love these white ankle strappy heels! Very on trend this summer and great to compliment the look.
So the style was nearly finished, I just had to find the bag and I found this cream clutch from H&M which I liked for it's simplicity and subtle detailing, so not to take the emphasis away from the shorts.
To finish off I couldn't resist these round sunglasses from Topshop to add a bit of fun to the look. Everyone needs a pair!

I had such a fun time styling my 'Summer Chic' outfit and would like to say a big thank you to Cabot Circus!

The Long sleeve midi Bodycon!

Dress - Topshop
Heels - Office
Bag - Topshop
Necklace - Miss Selfridge

I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it, I just love the tye dye colours. I was off to Ascot races for a 30th Birthday and the summer outfit I was going to wear I would have frozen in, so I needed an alternative and something with long sleeves! I love the long sleeve midi bodycons, they are so versatile, you can dress them up or down and they are so comfortable (And warm!).  This is exactly what I wore, teamed with a light grey blazer. Also looks great with gold accessories and chunky heels. For a more casual look, wear it with a pair of converse and a black leather biker jacket.

The County Magazine Bath - May Edition

Here is my May feature in The County Magazine and it is now on the shelf! I really enjoyed working with this palette of colours; I especially loved styling with chunky and sparkly accessories, that is the bonus when you are working with pale tones. I love the bold chunky collar necklaces around at the moment and I am always a sucker for anything that glitters and shines!

Check out my feature next month in The County Magazine!
